Forget everything you know about Jelly Fish because this new feature in the Soda Saga is an effective tool that you will need to learn about. Candy Crush Soda Saga Fish are special candies you can create by matching four or more candies of the same color in the shape of a square.
On frozen levels they eat the ice, on soda levels they eat soda bottles, on chocolate levels they eat chocolate, and on honey levels they eat honey. If there are no more bottles or you make them on levels without any soda they will eat something else that is in your way like a blocker.
Overall these fish are pretty smart, and will often really help you out while moving through each level. It can also be really frustrating when they don’t go where you want them to go so it is important to know what to expect.
The fish look like a regular Swedish fish, and always behave the same. While what they go after will differ from level type to level type, they will always eat something when you make a match with them. They can also be matched with other special candies, and this is when things really get interesting. In some of the most difficult levels you may need to make a big combo with a fish and special candy to have any chance of completing it.
The following is a list of what happens when you match a Candy Crush Soda Saga fish with the other special candies:
Candy Crush Soda Saga Fish Combos
|Fish + Striped Candy||Matching a Candy Crush Soda Saga fish with a striped candy produces a striped Swedish fish. This fish will swim to a blocker or other obstruction to remove it and will damage the rest of the row or column it is in. If you match a fish with a striped candy it will take on the properties of that type of striped. In other words a fish + a vertical striped candy results in a fish that will damage a column, while a fish + a horizontal striped candy will damage a row.|
|Fish + Wrapped Candy||Matching a Candy Crush Soda Saga fish with a wrapped special candy results in a wrapped fish. This fish will swim to a bottle or blocker and not only remove what is on that tile, but will also damage the area around it.|
|Fish + Fish||Matching two fish together is better than matching a fish with two other pieces of candy. When you match a fish + a fish you get three fish that swim away and attack three bottles, blockers, chocolate, or ice tiles.|
|Fish + Color Bomb||Matching a Candy Crush Soda Saga fish with a chocolate color bomb is one of the best combos you can make in the game. When you make this match each piece of candy that is the same color as the fish on the board turns into a fish and swims away. This match can help out in some of the toughest levels, and you should look to make these when you can.|
|Fish + Coloring Candy||Matching a Candy Crush Soda Saga fish with the new coloring candy is the best combo you can make with any fish you have. It works in a similar way to matching with a color bomb, but turns all the candies that are the same color as the coloring candy into fish as well. This means that when you match a fish with a different color coloring candy it will turn two colors of candies into fish at the same time. This makes for a lot of fish and clear out a lot of chocolate, honey, ice, licorice, bottles, or blockers in one move.|
